In the case of a Government servant officiating in a post and whose pay had been re-fixed under Rule 37, Part I KSR, if he is confirmed in that post with effect from a retrospective date

The balance of overpayments that cannot be set off against the arrears, of any shall be waived

The over payments consequent on such revision will first be set off against arrears, if any, that might become payable to the Government Servant for a portion of the period from the date of confirmation to the date of issue of orders of confirmation

The refixation of pay done after the date of confirmation will have to be revised
