All claims of a retired Gazetted officer shall be paid by the treasury officer

on receipt of payment order of Director of treasuries

only on receipt of verification of the claims by the Accountant General

on receipt of an undertaking from the retired officer on the refund of excess if any

on receipt of approval of payment by the concerned Head of office
