TA bill of an officer passed for payment by a Treasury Officer on 28th March 2016 was presented at the bank only on 3rd April 2016. In such a case can the Bank pay the bill ?

No. Such bills passed in the previous financial year will not be paid at the bank in the succeeding financial year. It shall be returned to the Treasury Officer

Yes. The bank need not ensure whether budget provision exists to cover the payment

Yes. Can pay as the bill is passed by the Treasury Officer
