A Government servant who receives postal money orders, shall include them in cash book in the following manner :
A subsidiary cash book is to be maintained for noting such money order receipts
Should note them in a Register of M.Os in the form prescribed, initial the entries while acknowledging the MOs, and enter the total of the amount received as a single entry on the receipt side of cash book
Entries to be made in the cash book from money order coupons
Should note them in a separate note book as and when money orders are received and copy each entry into the cash book at the end of the day
