A bill presented at a Treasury by a Drawing officer was objected and returned. It was presented again after rectification without a fresh entry in the Treasury Bill Book. Is this in order ?

No. The bill should be entered afresh in the bill book, under the Rules laid down

Need not be entered if there is no variation from the original amount

If the bill was returned for non attachment of copy of a particular document, it need not be entered afresh
